Empress Casino, Joliet, Illinois (November 14, 2007). Gaming isn’t the only thing happening at Empress Casino. Over the past year, the employees and guests of Empress Casino have been hard at work collecting donations for various organizations. Currently, the employees of Empress Casino are collecting toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from Joliet and their Toys for Tots campaign.
As of November 2007, Empress Casino has donated over $178,000 to organizations and schools in the Chicagoland area. Listed are just a few of the organizations Empress Casino is proud to have had the opportunity to be involved in so far this year.

Empress Casino, Joliet, Illinois (December 21, 2007). The pavilion of Empress Casino could have been mistaken for the North Pole yesterday when Catholic Charities and Firefighters Local 2 picked up donated gifts for their Toys on Parade campaign. Throughout December, employees of Empress Casino helped make Christmas wishes come true for many local, underprivileged children by volunteering to buy presents on their lists.
